Get to know the film!
Keanji is an indie animated short film that follows two scavenging cat hybrids named Keanji and Tunda on what should be a typical scavenging trip. However, one wrong move leads them into a bit of a pickle.
The film explores the relationship between wants and needs. What happens when we want something, and how should we act once we get it? I wanted to explore my own take on these questions. As someone who has been both a minimalist and a maximalist at different times, I’m interested in finding the best way to navigate our desires. When is it okay to want something, and when should we be satisfied with what we already have?
The film is currently in production. Here is a snippet of the progress of moving from concept art, to storyboard, to the final background image for the start of Act II. You can follow the progress of Keanji on Youtube and Instagram @MackAttacksArt
Keanji is the main character of the animated series!
She was born a single kit to a loving home and is always down for a cup of tea! Her best friend is Tunda to whom she met early on after leaving the Burrow.
Tunda is also a main character in the animated series
He is Keanji's best friend and loves to go out for an adventure. He loves discovering new things and is one of 3 kits from his Burrow. Tunda is dramatic and pretty sensitive, some may call him a cry baby but he'll always stick up for his friends!
